Radhika Apte’s Sex Scene Blurred In Ajay Devgn’s Parched
You won’t see the much-hyped lovemaking between the actress and Adil Hussain on the big screen
A few days ago, SpotboyE.com told you how Radhika Apte’s nude scene from the film Parched went viral and became the talk of town on WhatsApp in no time. (Radhika Apte's Nude Scene in Ajay Devgn's film!, Aug 15).
And now, we hear that the makers have blurred the same scene in the film. This amuses us as the scene in question has already become viral and has been consumed by the public on social media.
No brownie points for guessing who applied the scissors here- the Censor Board who else! Following which Ajay Devgn, who has produced the film, must have thought it’s better to comply than get involved in arguments with the Board.
Coming back to the scene, it shows Radhika making wild, passionate love to Adil Hussain. Parched, directed by Leena Yadav, garnered a lot of accolades at the recently concluded Indian Film Festival, Melbourne.
Parched is set in an Indian village, and deals with female sexuality thriving in a repressed world of gender inequities and patriarchy. In the story, Leena dwells upon the fact that sexual ecstasy is not a male prerogative --- it is something which even a woman has a right to. The film is set to release in the US on September 17 & in India on September 23.
